Nokia is an active participant in the field of network infrastructure and technologies. Its headquarters are in Espoo, Finland. It is believed Nokia invests in the future technologies. 
Nokia works majorly in the field of Nokia Networks, infrastructure business, Nokia Technologies, and intellectual property rights activities employing around 55000 people. Nokia is a major investor too. Nokia is one of the companies who deal in the mobile market too. Nokia has an agreement with the Microsoft On april 25, 2014.
 
HISTORY
Nokia was founded in the year 1865, and the incorporation took place in 1871 founded by Fredrick Idestam, Leo Mechelin.
In 1865 mining engineer Fredrick started a company which uses to make ground wood pulp on the banks of Tampere. Later in 1868 Idestam established another mill near the town of Nokia in the west of Tampere, which had better hydropower resources. In 1871 they transformed their firm into a share company namely Nokia Ab.
Then afterwards they worked towards the technology aspects of the company and made it grow at a fastest rate.
FUTURE PLANING
Nokia’s smart phone business is dropped down by 14% that is the reason why company is about to sell its smart phone business to Microsoft in coming times.
