MOTOROLA
Motorola Mobility is a source that keeps the people connected and makes the communication better. It is a multinational company which is based in Schaumburg, Illinois, united states, Founded on September 25, 1928. The CEO of the Motorola solutions is Gregory Brown. Company is divided into two that is Motorola mobility and Motorola solutions. Its business is mainly consisted of wireless voice, and broadband systems.
HISTORY
It started in California, Illinois as Galvin manufacturing companies its first product was battery eliminator. It produced car radios which were a huge hit at that time. The company’s founder Paul V.Galvin and an investor Bill Lear created its brand name Motorola.
It was a blend of ‘motor’ and suffix ’olla ‘. They have created a wide variety of products under this brand and had a great success being a producer.
In 1998 Nokia overtook Motorola. In 1994 Motorola became world’s first commercial digital paging, data and cellular communications in a single radio dispatch network and handset.
FUTURE PLANS
Future plans of Motorola are that they are focusing on the market of the Mobility to enhance the turnover of the company. Their basic strategy is to grow and win. Also the Motorola is joining the Lenovo as an innovation technique.
