HTC is known as high tech computer corporation is a Taiwanese company situated in Taiwan. It manufactures Smartphone devices and tablets such as mobile phones touch screen phones, and PDAs based on windows mobile. Its headquarters are in new Taipei city, Taiwan. HTC was founded in 1997. It expanded its focus to devices based on the android in the year 2009 and in 2010 to windows phone. According to the 2011 interbrand’s best global brands htc ranked 98th on the list. As media reported in 2013 HTC’s stock price has fallen by 90% since 2011.And HTC is also a founding member of open handset alliance who deals with the development of android market.

HISTORY
High Tech Computer Corporation was founded by Cher Wang, H.T. Cho, and Peter Chou. Company is known for creating first android phones, first Microsoft powered smart phone (2002), and Microsoft 3g phone (2005). HTC is also named as “device manufacturer of the year “for 2011 at mobile world conference. In 2007 HTC acquired the mobile device company Dopod international. The company is known for its efforts towards the introduction of new technologies. The company is growing and expanding since October 2011.
HTC has deepened its root in order compete and stand with the other companies face to face. They have their own strong mobile operating system which is by far very advance and great in every manner. On February 17, 2010, fast company ranked HTC 31st most innovative company in the world. And on January 14, 2013, HTC launched smart phones in Burma, which will be coming Burmese language.
FUTURE PLANS
As for the future plans Peter Chou, chief executive officer at HTC, and Cher Wang chairwomen of HTC, gave a slight look about the upcoming introductions that are going to take place. They did not revealed much but tried to just add some words to the going conversations. As an innovative addition they suggested tablet space and entry to wearable technology.
