Honda Motor Co., Ltd. Is a Japanese multinational corporation headquartered in Minato,Toyko, Japan primarily known as a manufacturer of motorbikes, power equipments and automobiles. Honda has been the world’s largest manufacturer internal combustion engines and since 1959 of motorcycles. Honda was the eighth largest automobile manufacturer company in the world behind General Motors, Toyota, Volkswagen group, Nissan, Ford, PSA, Hyundai Motor Group. Honda was the first Japanese
automobile manufacturer company to release a dedicated luxury car named Acura. Since 1986, Honda has been involved with artificial intelligence/robotics research and released their robot(ASIIMO)in 2000. Honda also manufacturers marine engines, power generators garden equipments and personal watercrafts.

Honda was founded by a young man name Soichiro Honda who was interested in automobile started worked as a mechanic at the Art Shokal garage where he tuned cars and entered them in races. After his initial failure, a long time hardworking Honda started manufacturing motorcycles. The first production of automobile Honda company was the T360 mini pick-up truck which went on sale in 1963.

The company assembled plants around the globe. These plants are located in the United States, Canada, China, Japan, Pakistan, England, Mexico, Belgium, Indonesia, Malaysia, Brazil, India, New Zealand, Philippines, Turkey, Vietnam, Thailand, Peru, Argentina and Taiwan.
