Transcend Information, Inc. is a Taiwanese company headquartered in Taipei, Taiwan that manufactures and distributes memory products. It was the first Taiwanese memory module manufacturer to receive ISO 9001 certification

and the first company in the world to offer a lifetime warranty on all of its memory modules. The company distributes its product in Asia, Europe and the Americas. Today, Transcend has become a leading global brand of digital storage, multimedia and industrial products with 14 offices worldwide. Transcend has the ability to quickly respond to the market’s challenging needs.

Transcend Information, Inc was founded in 1988 by Mr. Chung-Won Shu, Peter. Its first products were “JetMate” laser printer driver, for producing high quality Chinese characters, and KeyPro software protection system. The manufacturing of the first memory product for the laser printers was started in 1989.

Transcend Information has got lots of awards till today. In April 2014, USB Flash Drive ‘JetFlash 700 32 GB’ has got 10^th rank by Amazon, Japan. USB Flash Drive ‘JetFlash 380’ has got Great Hardware Award by Pureoverclock, U.S. in April 2014, Creative Award by Technolabs, Turkey in February 2014 and Editor’s Choice award by Webadictors in February 2014. In January 2014, USB Flash Drive ‘JetFlash 780’ has got 2013 Best USB Pen Drive Award by HardwarePlus, Turkey and 5-Star Award by 01net, France and also High Performance Award by Easycom, Ukraine in December 2013. In 2007, Gartner reported that Transcend has been ranked as the world’s third largest manufacturer of USB flash drives behind SanDisk and Kingston, with 8.7% global market share.

Transcend ha manufactured various types of Pen Drive models which are USB 3.0, USB 2.0 and Mobile (On-The-Go).

Transcend manufactures many other products which are Memory Cards, External storage, Solid State Drives, DRAM Modules, Car Video Recorders and Card Readers & Accessories.
