Fujifilm Holdings Corporation or Fuji Photo Film Co. Ltd. commonly known as Fujifilm, was founded in January 20, 1934, is Japanese multinational photography and imaging company headquartered in Tokyo, Japan. Fuji Photo Film Co. Ltd. was established with the aim of being the first Japanese producer of photographic films. Over the following 10 years, the company produced photographic films, motion picture films and X-ray films. In 1940s, Fuji photo entered the optical glasses, lenses and equipment markets. In 1962, Fuji Photo and U.K.-based Rank Xerox Limited
launched Fuji Xerox Co. Ltd. through a joint venture. In 21stCentury, the beginning of the new millennium witnessed the rapid spread of digital technology in cameras. In September 19, 2006, Fujifilm announced plans to establish a holding company, Fujifilm Holdings Corp. Fujifilm and Fuji Xerox would become subsidiaries of the holding company. Fuji Xerox is a joint venture between Fujifilm and Xerox Corporation of North America. Fujifilm bought Sericol Ltd., a UK-based printing ink company specializing in screen, narrow web, and digital print technologies in March 2005.
Fujifilm won the GOLD AWARD from DP Review for X100s. Fujifilm also won the DP Review Award for XE1 and Better Photography Awards for XF1. In Sep 6, 2012, triple win for Fujifilm at the 2013 red dot design awards. Fujifilm’s digital camera FinePix HS10 wins EISA “European Super Zoom Camera 2010-2011” Award in Aug 16, 2010. FinePix Real 3D System and FinePix HS10 won the TIPA Awards 2010.
Fujifilm has manufactured varieties of camera models which are A series, F series, J series, M-series, S Series, HS series, T series, XP series, Z series, Real 3D series and X series. Fujifilm has discontinued manufacturing many camera series which are E series, S5 Pro and V series.

Fujifilm manufactures many other products which are Photographic Paper, Inkjet Printer Paper, Magnetic Media (Audio Tape, Video Tape, Magnetic Tape Data Storage & Floppy Disks), Optical media (DVDs & CDs), Flash Memory, X-Ray Film, base materials for LCDs, Digital X-Rays, Synapse Radiology PACS, Synapse Cardiovascular PACS and Synapse RIS.
