Corsair Components, Inc. is a American computer peripherals and hardware company which was incorporated in California in January 1994 and was reincorporated in Delaware in 2007. In January 2010, the company was again incorporated in Delaware as Corsair Components, Inc. Corsair is a

global company bringing innovative, high-performance components to the PC gaming market. Specializing in very high performance memory, ultra-efficient power supplies, and other key system components, the Corsair products are the choice of overclockers, enthusiast, and gamers everywhere.

The company was founded as Corsair Microsystems in January 1994 by Andy Paul, Don Lieberman, and John Beekley. Corsair originally developed Level 2 cache modules, called Cache on a stick, for OEMs. After Intel incorporated the L2 cache in the processor with the release of Pentium Pro processor family, Corsair changed its focus to DRAM modules, primarily in Server market. In 2002, Corsair began shipping DRAM modules that were designed to appeal to computer enthusiasts, who were using them for overclocking. Since then, Corsair has continued to produce memory modules for PCs and has added other PC components as well.

Corsair has developed a global operations infrastructure with extensive marketing and distribution Channel relationships. Corsair’s products are sold to end users in over sixty countries worldwide, primarily through leading distributors and retailers. Corsair has recently expanded its DRAM memory module production into the high end market for overclocking. The expansion allows for high power platforms and the ability to get more performance out of the CPU & RAM. The Corsair Vengeance Pro series and Corsair Dominator Platinum series are built for overclocking application.

Corsair has manufactured various types of Pen Drive models which are Flash Voyager Series (includes GO, GTX, VEGA, GS, GT, LS, Mini, Slider), Flash Survivor and Flash Padlock.

Corsair manufactures many other products which are Memory, Cases, Cooling, Power Supply Units, Corsair Link, Solid State Drives, Gaming Products (like Mouse, Keyboard, Mouse Mat, Headset and Speakers), External Storage and Parts & Accessories.
